I have lately had the song, "Younger than Springtime" from South Pacific, humming in my head. I guess it is officially Spring tomorrow. Right? Well, I admit, I have caught Spring Fever and cannot wait for the warm weather to arrive. It also kind of makes me want this semester to be over, even though I know I should be enjoying life in the moment and making the best of things. It's okay to look forward to better things. Isn't it? Anyway, in honor of Spring time, and because I feel the need to post something, I have selected some of my favorite springtime quotes to share with you:
It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold: when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade. ~Charles Dickens
It's spring fever. That is what the name of it is. And when you've got it, you want - oh, you don't quite know what it is you do want, but it just fairly makes your heart ache, you want it so! ~Mark Twain
Spring is when you feel like whistling even with a shoe full of slush. ~Doug Larson
In the spring, at the end of the day, you should smell like dirt. ~Margaret Atwood
In the spring I have counted one hundred and thirty-six different kinds of weather inside of four and twenty hours. ~Mark Twain
Out with the cold, in with the woo. ~E. Marshall, "Spring Thought"
These are a few pictures from last year's Easter at Emily and Craig's house in Longmont, CO.
I love spending time with them there!

One of our Christmas presents from Lon's parents was a share in a cow. Yep. That's right. We get ground beef, roasts, and even steaks! Of course, Lon is in love. Thanks Stan and Christine!
